     THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

The parables of Jesus always present some powerful lesson about God and God’s will for our lives using everyday objects & relationships. This morning’s parable in Matthews’s gospel is another of the well known parables where Jesus gave the disciples insights into the parable of the seeds & soils that put a new perception on what they already knew & would lead them to teach others about the Kingdom values
God is using and preparing us for tasks or work in the Kingdom; despite the ‘soils’ we have planted ourselves in and the hardships we feel we have been dealt. The good soil where we will germinate, grow and produce well is waiting for each one of us - for the seed has been sown and the ground prepared through the Word of God in our hearts. God uses your words to lead others to him.
Those who have ears
- let them hear.
